Idolwood

So after the first Hollywood cuts, at least four of my five favorite contestants so far--Paris Bennett, Kelly Pickler, Garet Johnson, and Taylor Hicks are still alive; and they're all still my favorites. (No word on Mecca Madison). I found three more contestants I really like:


-Chris Daugherty, 25, first caught my eye during the audition phase when his wife broke down talking about what a good person he is--he apparently married her and became the father of her two kids. He's got a gravelly rocker's voice, and just a good presence.

-Patrick Hall, 28--he's got a good look for the show, a good voice, and seems likeable.

-Lisa Tucker, 16, a little girl with a big voice who apparently has been on a number of other similar shows.
