Bad Day upside down

'Idol' turns 'Bad Day' into anything but

USA Today: Bad Day may be a sad sendoff for bounced American Idol finalists, but for viewers, it's bouncy good fun.
Daniel Powter's piano-driven pop tune has been the sonic backdrop for Wednesday departures of singers voted off the competition (Fox, tonight, 8:30 ET/PT). With coveted exposure on TV's ratings blockbuster, Bad Day is No. 1 on Billboard's pop chart and the nation's top digital track with 467,000 downloads sold.

"It grows on people. Everyone can sing it, and it's easy to whistle," Powter says. "I'm sure American Idol is a huge reason the song is what it is. I'm thankful, because it's getting my music out there."
It's totally an infectioous song; and the video's great too.

Kindof puts a smile on your face, no matter what sort of day you've been having.
