Scare thrown into them

Watching on tape, Ryan opens, conveniently standing next to some deranged member of the audience holding an I love Ryan sign. Wonder if there will be any big surprises tonight.... 32.5 million votes cast outof last night's show, wow. They recap the show, showing Paris last as the best, even though Chris' was universally seen as the top performance.

To break; I like that commercial where that woman dances to Black Eyed Peas in the dressing room to music from her cell phone while trying on jeans, so much energy; amazing how some people when they dance can create a sense of space with just a few feet to work with. Come back to goofy commercial for some car, Chris lead; set in the wilderness, it's really bad actually.

Stevie Wonder on stage, gets a heartfelt standing ovation. Sings a song off his new album, ugh. Wish he'd just sing the things we know. :-) It's kindof a boring song, at least to me. Good beat, but didn't hold me obviously. Ending pretty good, he starts doing runs and stuff. Ryan has this really goofy smile on his face, then quickie promo with 'The Loop' people in the audience.

Three lowest vote totals... Hmm, Kevin or Ace, whoah, Ace is in the bottom three! Just assuming it's Kevin, people start booing, Paula says she doesn't get it, Randy says he's a little shocked. Simon says he's a little surprised, wake-up call; choose better songs, perform better. Well, I liked his performance second-least, still a bit shocking to see him here.

Back from break, Paris next, and she's safe. Kellie next, looking nervous, but she should be fine. And she is too. Taylor, he's totally fine; crazy sweeping spotlights makes everyone look weird. And he's safe. Then Chris, big screams from the audience; safe, of course. Melissa, good look for her. Hmm, good, put in with Elliott, one of the two--obviously Melissa. And it's her, she has on a cool outfit, black with some turquoise and other shiny stuff. Mandisa, she's safe; and is. Katharine, she's fine, and is. Lisa and Bucky, it'll obviously be Bucky. And--oh my gosh, it's Lisa! Whoah!

Ace and Lisa are ridiculous, they both have big grins though, Lisa looks pretty confident. Melissa should be the one to go.... Two of my bottom three, I had Lisa at six. If she doesn't go now she'll go soon, she fills the superior singer but no rabid fan base niche. And Ace goes back to safety, crowd very happy, long, slow, walk back. And Lisa's safe, Melissa goes out. Oh well, deservedly so. They show her clips, to You Had a Bad Day; then she sings, but my tape cuts off, so oh well.... It's sortof too bad, was starting to like her a little, but she's the one I liked least.
