The sky falls for one

So we're almost at ten.... We'll see who gets sent home tonight; I hope it's Bucky, fear it'll be Lisa. Will also be interesting to see who's in the bottom three; I liked Katharine, Kevin and Bucky least. 35 million votes, says Ryan; 2.5 million more than last week I see. Recap is okay, Chris and Simon get big screams as they're shown on tape. They're painting Lisa to be cut already... and portraying Ace as the big hit, which is wrong. I'm telling you, they're in the bag for Katharine and Ace.

Today's Ford commercial is not bad and kindof fun, beach theme; Mandis looks aboslutely huge; Kevin seems cool. Ryan makes a joke about how they've transformed Kevin's life and can do the same for you.

Barry Manilow comes out to sing, get a big hand. He seems to have trouble hearing; they pump his new almbum, and he sings Love is a Many-Splendoured Thing. Totally like Clay Aiken; and I think he's off, bit flat. And they bring out the idols, including Bobby Bennet, who sang Copacabana at some point as one of the top 12 guys and then was cut.

So the results... one by one. Ace is fine; not in the bottom three. Mandisa, she'll be fine--and is. Elliott... slight chance here, but he's safe. Kellie, she's fine. Chris of course too. Paris, should be okay; it's like you don't want to be near Lisa right now. Katharine, and she's safe, ugh. Hmm, so odd-they reveal the bottom three all at once as the last three sitting, Kevin, Bucky and Lisa.

Wow, so Lisa survives another week, making her friend Paris very happy. Wow, and Kevin is gone... Paris looks to be in shock; Ryan is sad that Chicken Little is leaving. Good highlights reel, just a good kid, looks like he's getting a bit teary-eyed watching it all. He does have moxie. And he thanks his friends still up there. His performance, like is usually the case, is better without any pressure. He goes over and sings to the final 10, such a class act. Too bad they cut out before he's done singing....

Oh well; next week Lisa or Bucky, then whichever one's left, then who knows--a lot can happen on this show in two weeks.
